TRAINING FOR LABOR SAFETY CERTIFICATE

1. The Ordinance on occupational safety and hygiene is in effect

3. Training content

FEC Group Joint Stock Company is a unit licensed by the Department of Labor Safety - Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (**) to operate in the field of training and coaching on occupational safety and health according to the Decree 44/2016/ND-CP (License posted on the official website of the Department of Labor Safety).

Labor safety training and certification for subjects belongs to the following groups:

Group 1: Training and coaching of management staff.

Labor safety training for managers is an important factor in building a safe working environment and protecting the health of employees in the organization. Managers play an important role in promoting and enforcing occupational safety measures. Therefore, they need to be fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to ensure safety at work.

Below are important contents and objectives in the process of labour safety training for managers:

- Understanding of the labour safety rules and regulations: Managers need to be educated on the laws and safety rules relevant to their industry and organization. This ensures they fully meet the labour safety requirements and avoid breaking the law.

- Identification and evaluation of risks: Managers need to be trained to identify and evaluate potential risks during their employees' work. They need to understand the possible risks and put in place measures to prevent and minimize them.

- Promotion of safety culture: Labor safety training for managers helps them to realize the importance of creating a safety culture in the organization. They should be encouraged to promote and shape a work environment where employee’s safety and well-being are the priorities.

Training groups of people working in hygiene and occupational safety is the process of providing knowledge and skills about hygiene and occupational safety to groups of people in the organization in order to ensure a safe working environment and to protect the health and minimize the labour-related risks.

Below are the basic steps to carry out training and coaching for groups of people working in occupational hygiene and safety:

- Identification of training needs: First, it is necessary to determine the training needs of the different groups of people in the organization. This includes identifying the skills and knowledge needed to perform occupational health and safety work effectively.

- Planning training: Based on training needs, the training could be planed and the coaching processed. The specific goals that the group needs to achieve after the course have to be determined, and appropriate training methods chosen such as traditional teaching, group discussions, exercises to practice, simulation games, online learning, and actual work activities.

- Selection of trainers and training sources: Selection of trainers or experts with experience in the field of hygiene and occupational safety to take on the training role. Training resources can be used from government organizations, independent experts or using training materials available from reputable sources.

- Implementation of the training process: Implementation of the training plan by teaching necessary content and practicing skills related to hygiene and labour safety. Note: Employees who completed the course will be granted a group 2 occupational safety certificate.

 

Group 3: Training for people which work with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene.

Occupational safety training topics for group 3 on the list of jobs with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene are prescribed in Circular 06/2020/TT-BLDTBXH. Include :

- Labor safety training for working at a certain height.

- Labor safety training in closed spaces.

- Labor safety training in construction sites.

- Safety training when demolishing construction structures.

- Labor safety training in metal welding and cutting.

- Labor safety training in the mechanical field.

- Labor safety training in Petroleum and LPG business.

- Labor safety training for sales staff.

- Labor safety training in machine operation.

- Labor safety training in hospitals and buildings.

- Labor safety training in production.

- Labor safety training in the electrical field

- Labor safety training in the commercial sector.

Note: Employees who completed the course will be issued a group 3 labour safety card.

 

Group 4: Training of a groups of people who do not belong to groups 1, 2, 3

Including apprentices, apprentices, and probationers working for employers.

Note: Employees who completed the course will be issued with a group 4 occupational safety monitoring book.

Group 5: Training of a group of medical staff

Labour safety training for people working in the medical and health care fields working at medical examination and treatment facilities.

Note: Employees who completed the course will be granted a group 5 occupational safety certificate.

Group 6: Training the hygiene and safety group for employees

Hygiene and safety group training is the process of providing knowledge, skills and competencies in hygiene and occupational safety to a group of people, usually individuals who are appointed or volunteer to take on a safety role. complete hygiene in organizations, businesses or agencies.

The hygiene safety team often has many tasks, including:

- Performance of safety inspection activities: Inspection, monitoring and evaluation of the working conditions, the equipment, and hazardous situations to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Note: Employees who completed the course will be granted a group 6 occupational safety certificate.

- The course is opened regularly at the FEC training center;
